My Whirlpool refrigerator had stopped cooling right and the freezer was getting weird with ice buildup, not totally dead, but close enough. They got me on the schedule fast and actually showed up when they said they would, which honestly matters a lot. The technician was professional, easy to talk to, and got right into it. He checked the airflow, thermostat, and a couple other things, then explained the issue in a simple way. No long sales pitch. No pressure. Just what was wrong, what needed to be replaced, and what it would cost. He had the part with him, finished the refrigerator repair the same visit, and cleaned up after. Since then the fridge has been holding temperature normally and the freezer looks good too. What I liked most was how straightforward the whole visit felt. Maxima Appliance Repair seems to know the local stuff and the service really felt like solid oceanside appliance repair, not some call center setup pretending to be local. Price was fair, especially for same-day style service. If you need oceanside appliance repair and want a company that picks up the phone, shows up, and fixes the problem without making it a whole thing, I’d recommend Maxima Appliance Repair. Good experience overall. I’d use them again.
